30 Year Anniversary

In 1994, Garden Trading was launched as a garden-centric business.

Drawing inspiration from the natural materials and colour palettes synonymous with the British countryside, as well as from some of the world's leading makers, there was a vision to blend simple, stunning form with function. This aimed to create a legacy of high-quality products that would stand the test of time.

Trust in the brand quickly developed and Garden Trading extended its roots, moving into producing kitchen and utility storage ranges that met the growing needs of its customers. Elevating external style, the award-winning Porthallow Collection was born as designers aspired to bring premium weather-ready pieces to the market, offering indoor lounge furniture aesthetics and comfort.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

Fast-forward to 2024 and we remain heavily influenced by both the British countryside and city lifestyle trends. In 2023 Garden Trading made the move from the rolling hills of Oxfordshire to a state-of-the-art facility in Wiltshire. This new home for the business offers our patrons an enhanced service proposition and features a bespoke product development space, where we continue to design our beautiful, curated collections. We take huge pride in producing responsibly sourced and lovingly crafted ranges, many of which bear the namesake of the various villages found nestled near our original home in the Cotswolds. Dedicated to introducing new designs that elevate everyday living and offer timeless appeal to our ever-growing customer base, our product team constantly scours the globe to find innovative materials and highly skilled artisans to bring our ideas to life; ensuring that no room - or interior style - is forgotten.

Our expansion into Lighting, Home Accessories, Indoor Furniture and Kitchenware means we now feature 1500+ home & garden-enhancing pieces across our full collection. Today we value great relationships with 2500 leading retailers, who are able to offer Garden Trading’s collections internationally. Whilst delighted by our growth and success over three decades, today we are most proud that all of our products are still consistently designed with love, to last; remaining true to the company’s original core values and vision.
